Group Voyages
Some examples of group voyages
The following organisations are all examples of successful group voyages on board John Laing in recent years:
- Stanbridge Earls School – for pupils with dyslexia and other specific learning difficulties
- Teenage Cancer Trust – young patients plus medical staff
- Chichester XL Club – promoting achievement for young people facing difficulties at school
- Naomi House Children’s Hospice – brothers and sisters of children with life-limiting conditions
- Alfreton Park School – pupils with severe learning difficulties or profound and multiple learning difficulties
- CHASE Children’s Hospice - brothers and sisters of children with life-limiting conditions
- Sunnydown School - for pupils with dyslexia and other specific learning difficulties
- Devon and Cornwall Foyer - a charity working with homeless 16-25 year olds.
- Isle of Wight group – young people funded by OYT South’s Isle of Wight support group
- Devonport Grammar School
- Parkside School
- Park House School
- MDL – exceptionally deserving young people sponsored by Marina Developments Ltd
- Roundwood Club – Youth club in Brent which promotes challenging activities including the Duke of Edinburgh's Award Scheme and includes many young people from ethnic minorities
- Community Links – East London charity working with disadvantaged young people, many with special needs
- International voyage – sponsored voyage for crew members of eight different nationalities
