Shorebased training weekend February 2014

Booking for Ocean Youth Trust South training weekend, 22 & 23 February 2014. Please ensure you have had email confirmation of your provisional reservation before booking and paying, to ensure there is a place for you..

Course fees include instructor fees, course notes and materials, and a contribution to venue hire.

Once you have clicked on "submit" you will get a confirmation page listing everything you have booked. Please double-check that you had added up the total cost correctly! Make a note of that amount and then go to the payment page. Please pay as soon as you have booked unless you have already agreed otherwise with us!

(a) £70 fee for First Aid covers course fee, First Aid handbook and certificates.

(b) GMDSS radio course fee is £40 for the online course which will be available in January and MUST be completed before you come to do your assessment at the training weekend. The assessment costs £60 and you should pay for both parts (total £100) when booking.

(c) Lunch in the Gosport Sea Cadet Unit is normally jacket potatoes and a range of fillings. £5 also covers tea, coffee and biscuits during the day.

(d) The Sea Cadet Unit will lay on dinner for us on Saturday - usually 3 choices including a veggie option (in previous years it has been things like chicken curry and chilli). The bar will be open and we will try to arrange some music.

(e) For those who don't live nearby and would prefer not to have to pay for more expensive accommodation, the Sea Cadet Unit can be used for accommodation on Saturday night, with mattresses on the floor. Please bring your own camping mattress if you have one; if not please ask for one of the boat mattresses. Breakfast included.
