Sponsorship and donations
How to make a donation
Thank you very much for supporting OYT South. Your gift will help to ensure that young people continue to enjoy the benefits of adventure under sail.
92.6% of expenditure in 2021-22 went on the direct delivery of our charitable services. (The remainder includes fundraising and governance costs).
Gift Aid
If you are a taxpayer, you can use Gift Aid when making a donation to OYT South. This allows us to claim back the tax you have paid, making your gift worth much more to us without costing you a penny extra. Just complete and return this Gift Aid form.
You can also use the Gift Aid form to make regular donations.
How to pay
See the boxes alongside or below this page for details about making online payments or sending payment by post. Please contact us if you wish to make a bank transfer and we will send the details.
Leave a legacy in your will, and in memory giving
Please consider remembering Ocean Youth Trust South in your will or arranging donations in memory of a loved one.
Justgiving
You can donate via Justgiving, or encourage other people to do so – this can work well if you are doing something like a sponsored fundraising event and you hope to get lots of people to contribute.
Other donation ideas
If you would like to talk about other ways of donating to OYT South, including:
- Payroll Giving through your work
- Sponsored activities – websites such as Justgiving make this very easy to do.
- Raise and Sail – the section of our website for young people wanting to raise money to come sailing
- Nominate OYT South for any local fundraising schemes in your area – such as a supermarket token scheme. If they only give to local causes, look into nominating local young people to sail – perhaps via a school, youth club, young carers group or similar.
Please contact the office, or the webmaster, for more information.
Thank you for your support – it really is appreciated!
